Description
This program is implemented through the study of academic courses, the number of which is not less than (24) academic units, and that it does not exceed (30) academic units over 3 semesters, in addition to completing a specialized scientific research thesis with a number of (6) academic units. The legal period necessary to obtain a master’s degree that the student spends in the department since joining, registering with, and graduating from it shall not be less than (18) months, and that the period shall not exceed (36) months, in accordance with Articles (124) and (126) mentioned in Regulation No. 501 of 2010 regarding the issuance of a regulation regulating higher education. Note that the minimum compulsory credits are (14) for the mentioned programmes. The student studies 4 to 5 theoretical hours and 6 to 8 practical hours per week.
Objectives
By the end of this program, the student will be able to know and use the latest modern scientific techniques in the field of radiology, ultrasound, anesthesia and surgery of various types of animals.
- The student also benefits from performing the latest surgeries in small and large animals, as well as he can find solutions to some field problems that exist in the veterinary field, especially in the field of animal surgery.
Interest in experimental surgery for experimental animals at the College of Veterinary Medicine by opening horizons for students and researchers in the faculties of medicine, pharmacy, dentistry and medical research centers to find appropriate solutions for some clinical experiments, as well as opening prospects for joint research cooperation.
- Through this program, the scientific level of the veterinarian can be raised through the following courses:
1. Core compulsory courses .... 18 credits, 12 credits for courses, 6 credits for Thesis
2. General compulsory courses... 8 credits
3. Elective courses.. 4 credits, from which the student chooses what is appropriate for his thesis

Entry Reuirements
1. The student must have obtained a bachelor's degree in veterinary medical sciences from one of the colleges recognized locally and internationally
2. To pass the initial entrance exam, which is given by the Postgraduate Studies Office in the college
3. To pass the personal interview test conducted by the department.
4. To comply with the general requirements for admission according to the postgraduate studies regulations.
Study Plan
The Master in Surgery, anesthesia and radiology prepares students to qualify for Master in Surgery, anesthesia and radiology. The student studies several subjects which have been carefully chosen in this major to cover its different aspects.
It comprises 3 Semesters of study, in which the student will study a total of 30 units, which include 4 units of general subjects, and 12 major units, 8 of elective units. In addition to a final project in the student's major.
