About Department of Animal Medicine

The Department of Internal Medicine is one of the pillars of the clinical phase of the faculty. It is based on the scientific and practical qualification of veterinarians who are ready to work, equipped with first-day skills and good medical practices and the latest diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive methods and techniques necessary to combat diseases, whether individually or in animal groups, regardless of their species. The department is also concerned with public health and the environment, in terms of zoonotic diseases and the One Health concept. The department's academic staff is also concerned with scientific research, through which they seek to study diseases, and provide the necessary information and advice to the community.
