About QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE EVALUATION DEPARTMENT

The Department of Quality and Performance Evaluation was established in the college in 2008, directly after the establishment of the Office of Quality and Performance Evaluation in the university, based on the decision of the General People’s Committee (formerly) No. 22 of 2008, This is the belief of the college in the necessity of applying comprehensive quality standards in the scientific departments and administrative offices of the college in order to advance the educational process in the to result in a graduate capable of professional competition in the local and regional market, as well as the advancement of scientific research within the college to keep abreast of scientific developments in various fields, in addition to strengthening the role of the college in serving civil society and contributing to providing suggestions and solutions to issues of society and the environment . Many heads of the faculty members of the faculty followed the department, who made efforts in cooperation with the quality coordinators in the scientific departments in order to achieve a high and distinguished performance quality for the college. With the combination of these efforts, the College of Science obtained institutional accreditation from the National Center for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Educational and Training Institutions, according to the Director General of the Center’s decision No. (181) for the year 2022. The department hopes to continue efforts to obtain programmatic accreditation for the departments, in pursuit of the College of Science to reach the forefront in the local, Arab and international classifications.
